1. Gorilla tank ongoing design contest

Gorilla Tank means Gorillatank.com or Gorilla Tank Limited, the owner for the site. The site is a community on the internet where artists who create graphical artwork can get exposure, feedback, and generate earnings when their artwork is selected to be printed, and where the general public can, view, rate and/or buy the submitted graphical artwork of the community.

Gorilla Tank is a for-profit venture and ongoing design contest. The objective is to reward designers for their work when their graphical creations are selected to be printed and to provide channels to commercialise designer's creations.

1.1 Obligations and restrictions:

When you propose your creation for voting on Gorilla Tank, you confirm that all designs uploaded are original and that you own the necessary rights that would allow you to submit the graphics and give us permission to:

Display your art anywhere on the Gorilla Tank web site.
Reproduce your graphical design (if selected) up to a limited number of 228 units onto t-shirts and then offer these items for sale on the site or on the Internet without exclusion or limitation. If you do not want your art to be part of this automatic merchandising program under these conditions, you are free to submit a new contract to Gorilla Tank who will review it for approval.
Use your art to advertise and promote Gorilla Tank's web site. We may select your art to include on advertising (mostly web based advertising but could also be print) created for the purpose of bringing in more traffic to the site (which in turn benefits all of the artists on the community).

1.2 The rewards:

In return for the rights of reproduction and when your artwork is selected to be printed: Gorilla Tank will pay you an advance on the copyright in the amount of £300 (three hundred British pounds) or equivalent in Euro or USD, all taxes included plus £120 in store credit. Further, should Gorilla Tank decide to reproduce your artwork more than the 228 times, the designer will collect 15% of the tax free retail price of the t-shirts and/or other items sold by Gorilla Tank for the created design.

Selected graphical artwork from the site is made available for sale on printed T-shirts, or offered for free viewing to community members and visitors. When art is offered for free viewing there is no direct revenue that is shared with the designers; instead this drives traffic to Gorilla Tank and more specifically to pages where the responsible artist receives credit and exposure for their creation.

Gorilla Tank might generate revenue for artists by exposing them to potential commercial customers who may want to hire them for projects or use and/or license submitted design. Gorilla Tank will not financially benefit in any way when a member of our community receives a job opportunity or any licensing revenue as a result of exposure they gained on Gorilla Tank.

1.3 How long does Gorilla Tank retain these limited rights?

The rights you assign to Gorilla Tank are for two years from the date it is uploaded on the site. The two years period automatically renews unless you notify us in writing more than thirty days before the end of the two year period that you want your artwork removed from the site at which point our rights end (except for our ability to sell off any existing inventory of items we may have).

1.4 What happens if somebody violates your copyright ?

Even through we don't own your copyright, we know you have put a lot of effort in your creation therefore be assured that by joining Gorilla Tank community, you gain an instant support in protecting the work that appears on our site. Even if we are not going to sue every person that violates your rights we do care and we will do what we can to help you if you suffer from that sort of fraud.

1.5 Etiquette policy

The site is a public space, so all users agree to abide by our etiquette policy:

We are an international community serving to all races, genders, religions, countries. Members of Gorilla Tank are expected and they are required to show absolute respect for one another's origins. We press for a positive & constructive atmosphere; we won't ignore negativity nor the absence of constructive commenting. Do unto others as you would expect to be done to you. You agree not to use the site for illegal purposes.

2. Terms of business

2.1 Delivery:

Our aim is to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt, between Monday to Friday, subject to stock levels. For EU orders please allow up to 1-4 working days for delivery and for international orders please allow up to 5-7 working days. In any case your order will be shipped within 24h of order.

2.2 Tax Charges:

For orders made from the UK or the European Union (EU), 17.5% VAT is added to your invoice. All other orders are VAT free.

2.3 Import Duty:

For countries and regions outside the European Union (EU) a customs or importation charge might be demanded by your government, please note we have no responsibility for collecting or paying this charge, before placing an order we recommend that you contact the relevantly authority responsible in your country for administering any import tax for advice on their charges (if any).

2.4 Credit Card Security:

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our secure payment provider's computer. They are not held in clear text on our website.

2.5 Privacy Policy:

We treat the information given to us by our customers with great care, we do not share customer's details with any third parties.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes: Name, Postal address, Email address, Credit or debit card details.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting us with your name, full address, postcode and daytime telephone number, there is no charge for this service. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. 2.6 About cookies:

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

2.7 Newsletter:

We send out newsletters by email at regular intervals detailing new products and special offers that are currently available. By placing an order with us you are agreeing and giving consent that we can send you these newsletters by email. Full instructions on the simple process of unsubscribing are shown at the bottom of each newsletter, all unsubscriptions are processed within 2 working days of receipt.

2.8 Returns and Refund Policy:

We offer a no quibble 30 day guarantee, this includes the statutory 7 day "cooling off" period as in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000, your statutory rights are not affected. If you are unhappy with any of the items you have ordered, please return the item(s) to us unused and unopened and in the original packing for a refund (or exchange), excluding the shipping & return shipping costs. Please allow up to 7 working days to process your refund or exchange.
